4. Data Storage

All data you create within 2026 Goals, including your goals, progress, notes, and preferences, is stored exclusively on your device using local storage mechanisms provided by your operating system.

Important: Because your data is stored only on your device:

• If you delete the App, all your data will be permanently deleted.
• If you switch devices, your data will not automatically transfer.
• We cannot recover your data if it is lost.
• We recommend using your device's backup features (such as iCloud Backup) to protect your data.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:

• Using a strong passcode or biometric authentication on your device
• Keeping your device's operating system up to date

• Amplitude: We use Amplitude for analytics purposes to understand how users interact with our App and to improve our services. 2026 Goals is suitable for users of all ages. 9. App Permissions

2026 Goals requests minimal permissions to function:

• Local Storage: Required to save your goals and app preferences on your device.
• Notifications (Optional): If enabled, used solely to send you reminders about your goals. Notification settings can be changed at any time in your device settings.

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other sensitive device features.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

The anonymous analytics data we collect through Amplitude does not constitute "personal information" under CCPA as it cannot be used to identify you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The analytics data we collect is anonymized and used solely for improving our App. Your personal goals and content remain stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
